Highlights from MusicEx 2024
- Live Performances: Over the three-day event, some of South Africa’s biggest names in music graced the stage, including Matthew Mole, Shekhinah, Mi Casa, Zakes Bantwini, and Jesse Clegg, creating an unforgettable musical experience for fans.
- Workshops and Educational Sessions: Attendees had the chance to learn from industry experts through insightful ‘How To’ talks and workshops, offering tips and guidance on different aspects of music creation and the business of music.
- The Battle of the Best Competition: The 2024 competition showcased the best of local talent, with aspiring artists battling it out for the grand prize of R100,000, a developmental record deal worth R150,000 from The David Gresham Record Company, and R100,000 worth of music equipment from Tuerk Music Technologies. It was an intense and inspiring competition, showcasing the future stars of South African music.
